I Have a Confession to Make

I've missed 2 weeks of posts in a row, most probably didn't notice it, but it weighed on me every week to write one. At night, I sat on my couch and decided not to write. In the morning, before work, I decided not to write. At lunch time, I decided not to write. So what am I getting at?
The decision was mine! The time was there, but I chose not to. No excuse says "I don't have the time." Each of us has 24 hours a day, 16 if you subtract 8 hours of sleep. How we use those 16 hours is up to us. We always have the time, but what we choose to do with that time speaks volumes.
The same can be said when you hear the response, "I don't have the money." Every one of us earns money, I hope. Some more than others, but we choose what to do with it. I/We choose to save a lot. I/We chose to buy a car and then replace it with another car recently (I use we because my wife is part of these decisions).
How we spend our time, our money, our energy speaks volumes about what we care about. There is much to be said for the phrase "Put your money where your mouth is." This term can be applied to almost anything.
This blog post took me about 5 minutes to write, and I chose to use these 5 minutes for this. Choose what matters to you, don't make excuses for the things you miss; in many cases, you do not even need an excuse. Why didn't I write a post for the past 2 weeks? I just didn't. I chose other things over blogging.
Choose what is important to you! Own it! Be 100% you for you. BUT, don't choose to put off the things you need to do! Famous Bible quote Joshua 24:15 "...but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD." Joshua chose to serve the Lord after talking with the people and challenging them. What good choices are you going to make?
